DEFINITIONS
Ball in play
If a player substitutes another ball when not so permitted, that ball is not a wrong ball; it becomes the ball in play. (Check also 15-1 and 20-4).
Ground Under Repair; Water hazard; Lateral Water Hazard
The Committee may make a Local Rule prohibiting play from an environmentally-sensitive area which has been defined as ground under repair, a water hazard or a lateral water hazard.
REGLAS
Rule 6-7. Undue Delay; Slow Play
For the purpose of preventing slow play, the Committee may, in the
conditions of a competition, lay down pace of play guidelines
including maximum periods of time allowed to complete a stipulated
round, a hole or a stroke.
Rule 6-8. Discontinuance of Play; Resumption of Play
The Committee may provide in the conditions of a competition that, in potentially dangerous situations, play shall be discontinued immediately following a suspension of play by the Committee. The Play shall be resumed from where it was discontinued, even if resumption occurs on a subsequent day.
Rule 15-1. Wrong Ball; Substituting the Ball.
Rule 20-4.
A player must hole out with the ball played from the teeing ground unless a Rule permits him to substitute another ball. If a player substitutes another ball when not so permitted, the player shall incur a penalty of loss of hole in match play or two strokes in stroke play.
Regla 25-1a. Abnormal Ground Conditions, Embedded Ball and Wrong Putting Green
The Committee may make a Local Rule denying the player relief from interference with his stance by an abnormal ground condition.
Rule 33-2b. New Holes.
Where a single round is to be played on more than one day, the
Committee may provide in the conditions of a competition that the
holes and teeing grounds may be differently situated on each day of
the competition..
