Callaway Golf has for the last 3 years held a special golf day at Bearwood Lakes Golf Club for 100 of the top retailers from the South.

This year, Callaway Golf Ambassador and European Tour Legend, Seve Ballesteros was invited to host a clinic for our top customers. After 18 holes of fine golf in perfect conditions, our guests were treated to a spectacular bunker display by Seve Ballesteros, the world's greatest short-game player. Seve entertained the crowd with his sharp humour and talent before signing 100s of autographs for eagerly awaiting guests. Seve was heard to comment that he thought the queue must surely be backing up the M4!

Talking about the event, one of the guests, Tony Williams, Head Professional from Studley Wood Golf Course in Oxfordshire said the following: "The whole day was perfect. As a golfer, how could you spend a better day? The golf course was in pristine condition and everything ran so smoothly. I've seen many clinics in my time and Seve's was the best I have ever seen. Thank you to Callaway Golf and to Bearwood Lakes for hosting the event."

Another guest Peter Evans, Head Professional from Royal Porthcawl Golf Club, Wales said: "The course is set on a sumptuous piece of land and was in superb condition, looking closer to 100 years old not 8. The course, the staff, and the clinic made for the most wonderful day. I have seen Seve play before, but not one of his clinics. He was just incredible. My thanks to all involved."

Seve Ballesteros said the following of the golf course: "The course was in excellent condition. The sand in the bunker is some of the best I have ever experienced. I hope to come back again soon."
