Club de Golf Novo Sancti Petri. (Chiclana de la Frontera, Cádiz)
27 holes. Opened in 1990. -9 holes. Opened in April 2001
It is a modern course, with a wide range of different holes and spectacular design. Some of the holes are next to the Barrosa Beach, and some others flow between a wonderful pine forest with great strategic lakes where a huge variety of birds and animals have found shelter. It was an important change in the concept in golf course designing in Spain. It has been the driving force for the town of Chiclana, as it has became one of Europe main tourist destinations.

Real Golf de Pedreña (Pedreña, Cantabria)
9 holes. Officially opened June 1992
I designed 9 holes where precision is more important than power. It is necessary to think over each shot in order to skilfully play them from different stances. It is probably the place in Pedreña where you can have the best views of Santander and the Cantabrian Sea. There are several holes near the Ria Cubas, Pedreña’s natural boundary.

Izki Golf (Urturi, Álava)
18 holes. Opened June 1994
I feel really satisfied by the great effort that was to carry out this wonderful course, with a minimum budget. This is a perfect example of environmental integration because the course which is in a forest with beeches and holly trees, making it easier for the course to win the Premio Madera Verde de Responsabilidad Ambiental, (Green forest award for environmental responsibility). The Golf course has improved an environment which was deeply affected by a huge loss of population in the past. It is a public ran course and has been promoted by the local authorities, (Diputación Foral de Álava) and nowadays offers a high range of possibilities.

I designed the First Public Golf Course with 18 holes developed by the Real Federación Española and Federación Catalana de Golf over an undulating land. This golf course has been in the past, and it is still nowadays, one of the biggest promoter of the quick popular acceptance of golf in Cataluña. Its versatility makes easier to turn the course into a demanding test for professionals.

Oliva Nova Golf (Oliva, Valencia)
Phase 1: 9 holes. Opened May 1995. Phase 2: 9 holes. Opened June 1997
I designed a wonderful course near the Mediterranean Sea, between Alicante and Valencia, where we can find several types of holes. Depending on how you focus your game, it could be very demanding. This is a course with a very good combination of precision and enough space to display a long safe game, particularly for amateurs.
It is in a very good location with a perfect combination between beach, golf, peace and quality housing developments.

Golf Las Pinaíllas (Albacete)
18 holes. Open in December 2001
Not too far from Albacete you can find this wonderfull Club. It is a comfortable place and I think I have designed a very interesting course, where powerful players will enjoy its width, although it might be necessary to establish the correct strategy, since there are several holes with some difficulties like water hazards. It was the first 18-hole course in Castilla La Mancha, and I think it is the most appealing one. You will enjoy it.

Golf Santa Marina (La Revilla, San Vicente de la Barquera, Cantabria)
18 holes. Open in December 2001
A collection of 18 holes, each with some special characteristics that make them different and peculiar pieces both from the landscape and the game point of view. Natural golf is what I have been seeking in all my designs, and this could be a very good example. A combination of holes with streams, lakes, stream beds, hills, and the entire course can be very rewarding to a courageous player. One who controls different types of shots and who can be considered a complete player and knows how to play firmly with a define strategy.
The six par 3 are spectacular and varied, although the beauty in hole 3, (a par 4 with the green in an island), is really unquestionable. The last hole is a par 5 where the score will be doubtful until the last put. Our commitment with the environment was awarded with the Prize Green Wood 2007.

Buenavista Golf (Buenavista del Norte, Tenerife)
18 holes. Open in October 2003
It is a spectacular course with great views over the Ocean. I believe that I have obtained one of the most attractive courses of the Canary Islands, where the moulding of greens is as enhancing as much as the design is. Located next to the Teno mountain (protected natural area in the category of Rural Park). It was awarded in the 2006 with the Prize Green Wood of Environmental Responsibility.

Meaztegi Golf (La Arboleda, Vizcaya)
18 holes + 18 par 3. Opening in 2005
A modern course designed inside some old mines where a spectacular work of environmental recovery was performed. The high quality in the constructions together with the great variety in all its holes has turned out to be one of the leaders in Spain. Proof of this is that as far as the number of green-fees sold it is one the highest ranked in Spain. Besides the extraordinary 18 holes, the course has a round of 9 holes of pair 3, Putting Green and a huge practice green of 100 meters in width in two levels.
A very selective course with a great variety of tees. The diversity of the 18 holes and the different types of scenes in which they are located, the valley with the Lagos, the slopes of surrounding hills, and the views on the Bilbao Abra, as well as the remains of the old mines with the rest of limestone bulks sprinkled between the holes next to the spectacular House Club and Practise range making Meaztegi Golf a unique project. In fact, a great public project promoted by the Diputación Foral de Bizkaia.

La Valmuza Golf Resort (San Julián de la Valmuza, Salamanca)
18 holes. Opening in 2005
Outside Salamanca is this pleasant round of 18 holes featured by its excellent location in Salamanca countryside. Its design is challenging and it should also be for the player. It has been the venue of several national matches. This pair 72 has always proved that, in spite of being very comfortable, it is not easy to score since it is a hard test featuring with its strategic and decisive game around the green. The combination of 6 pairs 3, 6 pairs 4 and 6 pairs 5, offers the chance to make use of the conditions of the land being so appealing to all types of players and the high handicaps ones those who will especially enjoy the greatest variety in the placing of the pairs. A housing development is near the course, but without interfering in it.

Peraleja Golf (Sucina, Murcia)
18 holes. Opening in October 2007
Undoubtedly, this is one of the best rounds in Murcia. The Golf Club Peraleja is located in the heart of one of the best housing facilities of the Mediterranean in the south-east of Spain. It has a fantastic climate to practice golf. The course is made up of balanced holes, to complete a pair 72, formed by slight undulations of the land and hazards strategically situated, which make the player display his/her creativity throughout the entire round. A perfectly integrated housing development is around the 18 holes.

Valderrama Golf Club (Costa del Sol, Cádiz)
Remodelation hole nº. 17 in February 1993
In 1992 Mr. Ortiz Patiño asked how should I modify the 17th hole. I sacrificed the hole length by looking for a refined strategy, therefore since 1993 this par 5 became the most important symbol in the most characteristic golf course in the Costa del Sol. Using my ideas about how a golf course should be, I achieved the Valderrama spectacle on the slopes of the 17. In this place is where you can find the spectators who want to see who dares to handle the hole with the strategy that it demands and, to whom by any cause, the panic seizes his minds. In the great matches in this hole is where you can see a great variety of eagles, birdies, pairs, bogeys, double bogeys…, and even some albatrosses. It really has all the ingredients of one of the most famous and demanding par 5 in the world.

Campo de Golf Talayuela (Talayuela, Cáceres)
8 holes. Opening in 2005
I have taken advantage of the special features of this extraordinary land to create a challenging course, absolutely integrated in the beautiful Extremadura countryside and the Gredos mountain range as a backcloth. While some of the holes run through tree-lined areas others are seriously affected by water hazards like streams or strategic lakes. These extraordinary 18 holes are promoted by the Municipality of Talayuela and the Spanish Golf Federation who at the same time manage its facilities. A true natural golf course.

This 9-hole course belongs to the Izki Golf Complex. Shares with the 18-hole course of Urtri the features of an environmentally integrated course making emphasize on the variety of its design. Holes 7, 8 and 9 build up this particular Amen Corner and they are particularly strategic, spectacular and decisive.

Golf Santander (Boadilla del Monte, Madrid)
18 holes. Opening in 2005
I have been co-designed this course with Rees Jones and I should point out the great job done in achieving an appealing course in a land with no outstanding features. These are 18 highly versatile holes where the numerous tees produce very demanding holes for professionals also playable by all kinds of players.
